[TechAssist] Canon printer model BJC-4300

Canon printer model BJC-4300, print head cartridge assy always returns to
center and power light flashes green, a couple of times when turned off then on
it would return to center, beep three times and flash green/amber till turned
off again. Customer indicated he had replaced the color ink cartridge but not
the black. Does anyone know what this printer is trying to tell me?
