Just a guess. If it takes two weeks to happen and removing AC restores
it, sounds like the customer may be having some power fluctuations in
the home,very briefly, that lock up the micro.We know about the older
Zeniths that commonly did this,and unplugging was the "cure". Also the
RCA CTC195-197 chassis were susceptable and would lose all sound.EEPROM
got corrupted,unplugging cleared that and restored the audio.
It's the "two weeks" thing that makes me think it's not an internal
issue.
