The D1881 is only rated at 1500V.  The BUH517
is rated at 1700V.  It may last or it could go out
some time later.

Also the D1881 is a 10A HOT.  The other one is
only 8A.  Using a HOT with a higher Amp rating
will usually cause it to run too hot.

Some aftermarket transistors are counterfeits
and may not last.  Another choice would be the
BU2708 - 1700V  8A  0.25us tf  - should work
fine IF you buy from the right distributor!!
