[TechAssist] Aiwa Stereo Receiver model AV-D58

This unit belongs to our 'puter repairman.
The opticol output has quit.
IC601 is a smd IC on the bottom of the optical
board.
It has been so hot that the top side of the board
is discolored aboue it.
This unit was purchased at Best Buy, and is still
in warranty.
Aiwa says to call sony(who now owns them) and sony
says call Aiwa..
We need to find someone that can handle this
warranty repair.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
