Just an Update on this Part.

After Emailing the President, he confirms there have been no complaints
about it to his knowledge. After I explained the problem we are having in
one set after Installing the ASTI Part, he has Sent me a replacement. I also
bought 1 From him outright for another set, but my friend has yet to install
it. Its the Same Part.
It will be interesting to see if his set lasts for a few weeks, then
experiences intermittent shutdown like the other TV we Installed the new
part in also.

Looking at the suspected Defective block, I cant really see any telltale
signs of damage. But it seems odd that the Main Anode Tube only has a
Phillips Head Screw at the Very bottom for Contact, whereas the other 3
"splits" have what resembles a battery Spring terminal like you see used for
the '-' Side of an AA or AAA Battery for making Contact. Ought we really
expect to have the same for the Main Anode Wire ? ? Could this be the whole
problem with this part ?

I have Provided a Link to a Picture of the suspected Defective HV Block, in
case Someone is Familiar With it. Here are all the Part Details...ASTI says
this Part is suppose to be the same Part. Inother words, P-N: 173494 = P-N:
2460187. I was sent what appears to be the same part in both instances,
although the Sticker on 1 says 2460187, and the other says: 8650-3. The
8650-3 Labeled Part

PS: My Ohm Meter Reads 10K Ohms from the Anode to either 3 Tubes on both
the Defective & Replacement part. Is this Too low ?
