Apex is going real strong. Just look at their website here:
http://www.worldwideelec.com/support.html They are sharing with Toshiba,
they must be doing OK. You can get a Philips PTV for $899 at Best Buy right
now, that is the regular price. I see it in the Sunday advertisements. Apex
isn't the only ones selling PTV's cheap. I can't tell you how many SSB's in
Philip's we have replaced so far, tons. Also we get many new under warranty
PTV's in from all the major brands too, so they all fail allot these days.
Apex should fit right in, thank goodness. Of course Apex labor rates are
like their prices, real low. You can even buy Apex manuals without being a

I saw an APEX 43" projection NEW TV for sale - HD and PIP - $699.99,
does anyone know if APEX is pulling out as did KONKA? Looks like they
may be dumping inventory as thes prices!
Not sure who is making PTVs for APEX. What about repair parts if/when
they split? These are for sale at CompUSA.
