[TechAssist] Re: '98 Toshiba PTV - Red Light Blinks - No Power

Vertical output transistor---usaully IC301 or IC401 or IC451.  Probably an
LA7838 or LA7836.  Just unsolder it and see if it fires up.  If it
does---the transistor is bad
