Daryl,
That old set is loaded with problems. When I worked for Sears, both
boards would be replaced. Not bad when they were $75 each. Then, all of
a sudden, they were $150 each. Who knows what they want now? They were
notorious for bad connections that take out the HOT and Q10 on the power
supply module. Also, have found bad flybacks, which NAP will not sell.
Must buy board.
We quit taking those old dogs in a couple years ago. Worth a shot if a
lot of resoldering and a few parts restores it, providing the customer is
willing to pay the piper. Then again, they are noted for fluid
contamination in the crt's, especially the blue and green tubes. Examine
them before you go further. If bad fluid, give the set back.
