[TechAssist] Re: 204809 screen-focus now available.

You haven't ever seen a cracked Screen/Focus assembly in a PTK169? Man, we
get those all the time. Many times it doesn't even come in for that but we
see the assm is cracked and replace for good measure. Most times they are
all starting to crack and you can see the crack from the front where the
controls are. If it comes in for that I have seen all sorts of problems to
no video, retrace lines on a color, all the way to shutdown or dead set.
Also there are other HV blocks than the 205064 used in the PTK170, PTK180,
and the PTK169. Some special blocks I have seen have 7 outputs and one
input, instead of the normal 205064 with the 4 outputs with one input.
We keep at least two of each type of HV block and the one type of
Screen/Focus assembly.

I am a little confused. I have been working on RCA's for years and I have
never used a 204809 . The only HV part I have ever used is the 205064
Splitter and an occasional Flyback. What kind of problems does the 204809
Screen/Focus unit cause when it goes bad.
