[team-spider-ewb] Re: Research Roster

Hey guys,this is joey here.
How's everyone going?
I've looked up some techology exixting in other countries. And i also went
through some reports about biodigesters. I think some limitations& efficiency
are mentioned in these reports.(including the materials and cost)But we need to
add some more for this particular object.
But i think i still need to go through some texts in the library to get some
more solid evidence and then pick a proprate design. (I am actually thinking of
combining different techologies together...)
The unfortunate thing is that: i;ve been sick again( maybe i shouldn't say
again.....) so....according to my doctor, i must rest at home this time.
But, anyway,I will attach the web links below,(some reseash stuff)u guys might
want to have a look at today's meeting.
I'm really sorry i cannot come today!
Plus: who is doing the research on the local material? Please do take a look
through the web links, and deside what we can use, thanks!

Hi Everyone,
Here is the list of our research topics (rough outline).

Joey - will look at existing technology already being used in other countries
and theoretical/ new technology.
        - will pick a suitable design compared with the materials available,
and decide how many are needed for the community.
        - will define the limitations and efficiency of the chosen design.

Cameron - will look at micro-organisms already being used in other countries
and micro-organisms found locally.
               - will pick one based on the type of waste it eats, the amount
of methane it produces, the temperature range it requires, and the
availability/ cost of replacing it.
               - will define how it interacts with the inner working of the
bio-digester.

Qi Qi - will look at new and existing technology for capturing/ storing the
methane produced and transporting it where needed.
          - will pick a suitable storage design relative to the materials
available and the methane produced.
          - will suggest an existing cooking method for using the methane.
          - if the methane produced exceeds the estimated need for cooking
with, will suggest other uses for using the methane.

Pramod - will find information as to how much waste is available in the area
for bio-digesting.
             - will find information as to what other materials are readily
available for use in the area.
             - will help Edward.

Edward - will find information pertaining to the background of the community
(i.e. demographic for age, education level, belief systems, etc).
             - will find information as to the average climate, the range of
climate, number of wet days, rainfall, etc.
             - will define the relevant constraints as to the background of the
community (i.e. can women work?, is cow poo sacred?).

Remember this needs to be 6 pages long each before April 1st. If anyone has
done their allocated research and has not met the required 6 pages they may
take some from Joey (as her's will most likely be longer than 6 pages).
