In Surrey, we've got both red and blue.
Red - pretty displays, easy to use - when it works.
Blue - boring (well our version is) - reliable.

Martin,
Been there, seen it and bought the T shirt !
I bought the RED system years ago after using the BBC BASIC Ferranti
thing and I thought it was brilliant. Except for the fact that I had to
reload it every week or two due to software problems.
I eventually bought the BLUE system instead. I have had it for three
years and it works extremely well. The support is excellent, the editor
is now windows based and the whole things works!
We are BLUE authority; SCOOT/PREFECT and RMS and enjoying every minute
of it.
No, I've not been offered a job on the south coast.
