how do you get a hold of Dave Trino? Kosdon was working on an old case of mine
before he passed and I'm wondering if he has it

Im not sure if Frank changed the parts for his Kosdon 75/7600, but the motor I
got from Dave Trino, who inherited Franks stuff, sold me a Kosdon 75/7600
complete motor for $275.00 and it has a black anodize forward closure and uses
a thrust ring on the outside of the case, and from what Jack has told me, I
have the older Kosdon East motor which uses the thrust ring groove and has a
AMW forward closure and nozzle, but i don't know what changes Frank made after
those. I have some of Franks 54mm motors with and without the thrust ring
groove, so i dont know if he made any 75mm motor casings without the thrust
ring. but looking at the Aerotech KBA instructions for the Aerotech KBA
M1450W it showed this:

USE ONLY KBA RELOAD KITS AND MOTOR PARTS TO REFURBISH

YOUR KOSDON OR ANIMAL MOTOR. The KBA reload kits have been

designed specifically for use in your particular Kosdon or Animal motor. Use

of imitation components may destroy your motor, rocket and payload and

will invalidate your motor warranty. Only use KBA reload kits intended for

your specific Kosdon or Animal motor. DO NOT INTERCHANGE PARTS!

Do not use KBA reload kits or motor components for any other purpose than

to refurbish an Kosdon or Animal motor.

so its showing that it should only be used with Kosdon or AMW motors and not
just only for AMW. I don't know if Frank made changes to his 75/7600 and
changed the nozzle and forward closure. Maybe you seen different ones?

Well, it may "go into" the Kosdon TRM case at a research launch but it is only
certified with the AMW nozzle and bulkhead. I think a lot of people get
confused by the KBA label thinking the Animal Compatable reloads can go in
either Kosdon or AMW hardware and be certified but they aren't.

Just to clarify the M1450 is a KBA "Animal Compatible" and goes in the AMW 7600
case with a reusable nozzle. One nice thing about the AMW case is that it is
great for EX motors. It seems like a great deal to me.

I would use a Kosdon by Aerotech 75/7600 , M1450 its 7813.0Ns motor and was use
to set the M altitude record, its more powerful than the M1850W 7658.6Ns. and
for around 299.00 its about a hundred dollars cheaper than the M1850W

The AeroTech M1850W is no puss motor for the 75/7680. It lofted my Performance
Rocketry Competitor 4 to 18,600 feet.

But just leave that 75mm motor mount out of the Intimidator 4, make it a
minimum diameter, and fly it on an M750W 8^D

It has to fly on puss motors. It has a 75mm mount.

The Intimidator 5 and the Competitor 5 both have 98mm holes in the
bottom.

        They take real motors. 8^)

Yes as long as you don’t fly it on any puss motor

Ok, I got my Intimidator 4 kit today. Does anyone know where I can find 2
TAP’s to do my L3?
