I would certainly find a slightly bigger(but no longer)screw because, is it not true that once you JB or epoxy the points down you could never get it out? So the life of the points is the life of the dizzy? And what about adjustments? Is this the borrowed dizzy?

How was the wedding, wedding boy?

I thought you were remodeling your kitchen?

The points screw goes into a fairly thin metal plate. You'll probably need
to go with a slightly larger screw. No helicoil. Make sure the new screw is
not LONGER than the original.

Or find a donor dizzy and replace the points plate.
