I took my puter to the local geek thinking he could save most of my stuff but
when it was returned i had lots of corrupted files.It was and is still a real
mess.
Backup,what's that besides something that should be done before the crash.

What've we been doin wrong Chuck. My computer crashed about a month
ago. Managed to recover about everything except a huge data base of VW related
addresses & phone numbers that I had compiled in Excel. Think it's called
backup. Maybe some of the computer gurus on the list have some suggestions on
the easiest and most effecient way to back up the hard drive.
