[tcb] broken Homer

He is over at Herr Schmidts getting ball joints,tie rods,and drag link
installed. They were supposed to be finished today at 1 pm, but the
ball joints I got at ASK (local vw parts place) were for a 72 and up.
So they had to order the correct ones, and the drag link. Hopefully
they will be done this evening or tomorrow.
I hope it drives like a new bus, it better, all that stuff cost almost
as much as the NEW motor.
F.Y.I. Herr Schmidts is the ONLY place I could find in Houston that was
familiar with bay window bus ball joints. I have heard that they are a
bitch to press. The front end shop that Bob recommended could not do it
for me because Herr Schmidts stopped renting out their tool.
