When I got my truck in it was ready for the grave yard, ring and pion out,no shocks ,crashed in the rear and lots of other unpleasent things. When it comes to the things I've done to the truck, most are personal taste.A little Cal Look flair to even a street rod look.I think the upgrades have made it a much better vehicle ,but would also drive a Barndoor on the street if I had one.My enjoyment comes from driving them .(I know I tow now every now and then ,but thats another story). If its a larger show and done right ,I feel they should have a stock and custom type 2 class. If they're all togather ,it's only natural that some judges will be more partial to the vintage or stock look over the custom and vice versa.I see this particularly when it comes to best engine award. It's what those particular judges like on that particular day. That's why you can't get too serious about the show stuff. Some days you win and well you know the other.
