[tcb] URGENT: Will a '78 Master Cylinder fit a '77?

I was trying to fix my brake lights and replaced a switch but the rusty MC gave 
out and broke when I tightened the switch down. A friend of mine is bringing 
over a known good MC from a 78 tomorrow, anyone know if they are 
interchangeable? I am thinking they should be.
