If I don't sell it this weekend, I may list it on the Samba. I just don't want
to deal with haveing to ship it some where. It's kinda bulky to get boxed up. I
guess I could put Local pick up only.

A top quality bug original bug rack goes for $350-$400. A type III is more
rare, but then so are the cars and the demand is limited. I would guess you
could get $400 from some Type III nut out there who really wants an original
rack. If I were putting it on the Samba I would ask $400 and see what response
you get.

What do you want for the rack?
I've seen nice type 3 racks for a squareback go for $300.
Bus racks are the big dollar kills for early style, bugs/other models are
repopped but OG still commands some
respect.
If it's bullets, early and in good shape you should be able to get a good price
for the bra but I wouldn't
expect it to be over $100.

What would an original metal framed with wood slats type 3 roof rack for a
fastback be worth. I have one that I kept from when I sold my fastback. I don't
have a use for it and I know someone that is interested in it and I have no
idea what it's worth. I think the previous owner bought it at the dealership
when he bought the car. Will?? Sammy?? Anyone.
I also have a 2 piecs bra for a type 3 with the bullitt front turn signals. any
idea what it would be worth??
