Now I remember. The brain gets dull with age.

I have a '70 Riviera with a small pop top - Utah. I drove it to the Classic
this year.

Did I miss something with a brain lapse Ronnie. When did you get a bus? I
thought you sold the Vanagon.

Sounds like fun and much closer than Austin with T@P 8 the next weekend.
It's close enough that Renae can drive the bus and I'll take the truck. Bus
and craft beer are a good fit in case I have one too many.
Do you know any details on the beer tasting?

I know this is supposed to be for busses only, but Mark and I won a tropy today
for Best Work in Progress with our '73 Thing, Virgil. This was our first car
show in a while and Virgil's first car show ever, and it was great to be out
with other car people. We went with our friends, Phil and Karen Douglas who
took their '64 Beetle, Jaftb and they got second place Work in Progress. We
were the only 2 VWs there and got quite alot of looks. And the occasional
"what is that? asked". That is always the greatest question to answer. The
show benefited a local volunteer fire department and they had almost 50
entrants. All in all a good day.
I also want to invite everyone who is able...the North Houston VW Club is
hosting their car show this year on Oct 1st in Tomball. I think this is
co-inciding with the Tomball Beer Festival. This is the new location of what
used to be the Trader's Village show. I know that there are many other
activities going on that weekend, but wanted to let y'all know. If anyone is
interested...email me off the list and I will get you the information.
Emily and Mark
