If I read the WHOLE post I will find out for myself what year the BMW is.

I can picture that. What year is your BMW?
I have a '61 R50. It is up in Wyo along with my 61' SC. :-(
You find a SC and I'll get mine to TX. We could park side by side at one of
those rallies. WE could even get Paul to join us.

Dang It!~

Why is it I hear about a $1500.00 single cab as close as DALLAS when
it's too late? Just my luck. That's my price range, I don't care about
looks. I would like an engine, tho. Something that could be made
running with a little sweat would be a dream. I REALLY want one of
these to haul my motorcycle to rallies in.

Just picture it.....a vintage classic German-made BMW R69S motorcycle
being brought to a European motorcycle rally in the back of a VW
single-cab split-window truck! I have in mind one of those
"mini-cranes" to put in back to lift the bike up.

As far as cosmetics, go....I'm thinking of "urban camoflauge": greys,
dark greys, black & white. Easy spray can application. That's why
cosmetics are unimportant.

PLEASE would someone put me on their mailing list for the next one that
pops up?

Thanks.
