Not a complaint about judging but a question.
This is the first time I showed a watercooled VW, are they normally all lumped
into just one or two classes? My 1984 Rabbit didn't stand a chance against a
2004 Polo.

the one that inspired it. Course the half she's getting is the one with the
gas tank and she's gotta keep it filled. Two: On awards; I think the new
format went extremely well and I have heard only one complaint. That about a
bus that got beat by at least two busses which have been featured in Hot VWs
(no not my class). People need to realize that there were some really awesome
vehicles there. Many have been mag featured cars. The "Best Of" awards were
judged by 4 very experienced VW people who were totally independent relative to
the vehicles. I personally saw no classes where awards were made which were
not correctly judged, or at least very closely so.

I hope Sharon is reading these posts and will know that a popular uprising
is happening to stop this crap.

Aside from the racing crap, Steve is taking amazing abuse from some people
about judging and trophies. If I were him there would definitely be a Do Not
Return list. Some people should just stay away, or at least be barred from
competing. (I hope he doesn't put me on that list)
