[tcb] Rotten?

Ok. Every week I am teased by my mechanic that this weekend will be the first
time I get to test drive my '66 and it keeps not happening. Maybe this
weekend. Anyways, it had new tires on it 4 plus years ago and they have been
just sitting there holding air, never going anywheres. So if they don't show
any visual sign of dry rot are they for sure safe to still use? I don't want
them to fall apart once I do start really driving, in theory if it ever
happens.
