I would leave the carbs alone and do the exhaust gaskets and check the head
torque. Dual carbs will be a pain in the rear to dial back in and since it
ran good all the way to and almost back from Eureka I would suspect
something else subject to vibration and wear has ratled loose to cause the
backfire.
