Let's see if I got this right:  You have to jack up the bus and jack down the 
bus at the same time.  That is if you have the correct length bottle jack and 
the bus is not so low that you can't get any jack under there in the first 
place; then you have to wrestle the tire out with help from at least two other 
people.  And then you got a 200+ pound person to stand on a long pry bar jammed 
into the suspension somewhere.  Sure hope you don't have a flat on a lonely 
road at night by yourself.   LOL!
 
That ain't covered in my Bentley Manual.

mine's not a split but i have to put a bottle jack in there and jack it down 
then pull the wheel off and then jack it back up.
