Welcome to the list. Most of us do our own repairs, I haven't used any of the 
local VW shops around Houston in a long time. The only one I would recommend is 
Jeff's Bug shop in Bellaire. I don't know his number but I'm sure he's listed. 
If it's just basic maintanance that you are needing, we often have tech 
sessions at different peoples houses. Is this your first VW???
