Don't forget the Bug Bash Rally May 14 and Show May 15!
Yes, we stole the rally idea from AAC.  Imitation is the sincerest form of 
flattery, right?  

  Hopefully, we'll do better than the US version of Top Gear.
There's also a raffle engine again this year (thank you Mr. Sawyer!).  Hope to 
have it ready for Nacodoches and the Classic.

There have been a few comments regarding the railroad tracks on Independence 
Blvd and the wait to get into the park.  WRT to the tracks, we'll put some 
cones 
out or something but please help us encourage any drivers of lowered vehicles 
(especially buses) to go slow!

WRT to the wait at the entrance, no 'toll booth' this year so that won't be an 
issue.

I won't be there. Currently working on a new camping accessory and
trying to figure out why the bus isn't idling until after it warms up 5
or 10 minutes.

Also trying to set my schedule so I'm not closed a full 3 or 4 day
weekend for 3 or 4 months in a row. Bulli Gras in March then in April
the Classic is one weekend and Easter is the following weekend (Easter
is a mini-reunion for my family with the "be there or else we'll hunt
you down" reunion falling in November). Memorial Day in May. June is
clear but I think there's something that happens every July, I just
can't recall what it is.

The new camping accessory should be working next week but I still
have to have mounts fabricated to attach it to the CampMobile. I need a
1-1/4" receiver hitch mounted to the frame under each front bumper
mount. I was going to mount directly to the front bumper but have been
warned by others that long term vibration combined with the 200lb
weight will eventually cause the bumper mounts to break and I'd be
running over a $2000 accessory.
