Bryan will be Monday. I'll probably push a little past Killeen on Monday.
The whole "are we STILL in Texas" thing sneaks up on me *EVERY* time I make
this trip. I'd like to make at least 400 miles/day Mon/Tue/Wed. Tat will
put me inside the 200 mile mark on Thursday and I can scout out a place to
stop early Thursday a bit closer to have a good rest night before "day 1"
activities.
If you leave by 6pm Wednesday and push it you can get within 30 miles of
Jerome by LATE Thursday night at 60 mph with a 6 hour sleep break -- even
taking the "long way" on I-10. That's what I did 2 years ago. Stayed
Thursday night at a rest stop a bit past the 89a turn off on I-17 and
rolled in about 9 Friday morning.
