[tcb] Re: James....?

No I answered it. I checked that a while back. I changed out the primary cable
from the battery to the starter the other day per Ronnie's suggestion but the
battery was completely dead since I left the key in the on position after the
show  Sunday while being stricken with an acute case of general malaise. Now I
am wondering if it is actually fixed or am I in need of a new headlight switch
or an ignition switch. I am tempted to say fuck it and drive it to Nac tomorrow
to see what happens.I can always have it push started...

You haven't answered Denis question about the body
to transmission strap.I have ran into a no crank condition that turned out to
be
the positive battery cable clamp to the battery cable. It was giving the
symptoms
that you have been describing. If you are using molded cable ends you should be
okay.In my case it was so intermitten and related to heat that it took me about
two years to finall get it isloated. Then it only took about ten minutes to
fix.Stay after it.
