But it does APPEAR to be lack of fuel.
Cranks up fine after sitting an hour or so. Idles fine. Drives about 50
feet then falls on it's face. No idle. No restarting. No nothing.
It can be restarted by FULLY choking it (eg. hand on top of carb).
I'll go back out when it warms up tomorrow and do an output test on the
fuel pump.
If it fails I'll just find a place to mount the carter electric. Of
course I'll have to buy a new regulator for it since the one I have is
in storage 20+ miles from here.
I also have no truck. Looks like a blown intake gasket. POURING coolant
around a bolt on *top* of the motor. Won't get it worked on until
Wednesday or Thursday.
