I unhook in the parking lot and drive the Rivi down into the camping area.
No non-VWs allowed in the show area but the parking lot is in sight from
the whole camping area.

I'm SE of you in Silsbee (just north of Beaumont). Are you picking up Bev
in Austin? If not, then taking 190 to where it dumps onto I-10 just before
Bakersfield is a nice drive, even towing.

Lots and lots of empty road and mostly 70mph speed limits if you plan to
drive that fast. Bring a couple of Jerry Cans of fuel -- many towns on the
route roll up the sidewalks at dusk and it can be 30 miles+ between towns.

If you're planning to go early and you have the Westy then camp out the
night or two before the show in Windsor State Park. That's the host park
for the show. http://www.azparks.gov/Parks/parkhtml/havasu.html

If you pull up their map the show is in the area to the far left near "p
LOT 4". The day of the show the gate between our group use area and the
main park gets closed so you do have to actually drive about a mile around
from the main gate to get in the show.

Absolutely. Permission granted. I'm actually a member of the Arizona Bus
Club because they were donationg a significant portion of registration fees
to whatever charity the Jerome show was supporting. They send a paper
newsletter each month.
