Yeah Paul. You can't have advertising on the vehicle with antique plates and I
thought about both my panel and your truck with the logos. But since that's
part of the antiqueness of the vehicle and it's not real advertising I don't
think anyone is going to say anything.

As a side: In Nacogdoches county it cost $61 per year to register and the
inspection is now whatever like $12 per year unless you are in one of those
smog counties where it is more. So over 5 years you would save about $60 in
inspection plus 4 years of not having to register at $61 per year. That's a
total savings of about $300 every 5 years. I also have antique insurance with
JC Taylor and the total premium cost for all of my VWs (8 insured) is about 1/3
of what it cost to insure my one Chevrolet pickup.

Ok ... I just went to the txdot site... You can run
the year plate with antque reg. but it states that
there can be no advertising on the vehicle ... I read
that as :Sammie and I's advertizing is not for a real
buiseness ? So should be ok ???
