No, those were pictures of the brand new, old style, pump and the two
"wide open" gaskets that came with it. I'll be looking for a rebuild
kit for the old one so I can toss it in the box as a spare.
Heck, the old one might not even have a bad diaphragm. The carb was so
nasty that it's entirely possible that the float was stuck and causing
the block to fill with gasoline and it "unstuck" itself when I started
rattling it around to remove it.
Carb kits are getting cheaper now (without going down on price). No
replacement float so I'm glad mine looked OK. Just a box of gaskets and
an inlet valve for $16.
