[tcb] Re: Front door handle latch

Trey As you pull trigger it pivots a round lever to push the door latch . That lever will crack & bend , which causes the handle to work less & less . ( harder to open ) A lot of the handles are broken on one side or the other . When it breaks completely then " it no workie " Terry

Guess its inside the handle? Or side the door?

Got a buddy with a 70 double cab that has a problem with both front
handles. When he goes to open the doors, he pulls on the handle latch
thing and bam, door doesn’t open. I’ve never heard of this before.

Anyone ever had to fix this – I don’t think its that little spring in
there that you have to replace to keep from wiggling the=2
0key to lock
and unlock –sounds like it might be a mechanical break inside the
handle.
