He has lots going on. A rental house to take care of, some property they bought and Whirlpool keeps him way busy. Way too busy to be writing E-mails. Brain is just MIA. Nobody has heard from him in ages. I suspect that he is out of the VW thing. Judging is easy and, I think, it’s fun. Judges get a free T-shirt! I am the damn freebie committee again this year. I didn’t know this until this morning when I got a call asking how it’s going. So, if anybody knows a business that wants cheap advertising and can come up with a key fob or a bumper sticker or a pen or a pin give them my address. I hope to see a bunch of Texas people. I know the resident artist (Denis) will be there, along with yours truly, Adrew Barnes (he's been quite on the list for a long time), and maybe even cool Fred (Brian) who has even been quiter on the list. But the purpose of the e-mail is to forward a request for judges. They need lots of judging help. If you plan to go and would like to help them out please call Barb Zimmer at Way-Out Salvage (479-665-4126) and volunteer. One of the biggest complaints of VW shows large and small is the quality of judging. Well, the reason is that it is almost impossible to get people to volunteer to judge, and Eureka is having an unusually difficult time this year getting people to agree to judge. So, if you are going to be there, how about jumping in and getting your feet wet judging. Denis might even give you some free art work if you volunteer. And if you are not planning to go, well, change your plans. Denis has outdone himself this year on the artwork, and he is going to take it as a personal insult if you don't show up. Denis: feel free at any time to jump in and give a plug for the show and the need for judges. Sammie
