Well I was in that range in the morning but late afternoon it was 430 - 450. Might need to slow it down a bit. --- On Mon, 5/18/09, w.wood <evil.scientist.boo@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: w.wood <evil.scientist.boo@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Average head temps To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Monday, May 18, 2009, 4:04 PM I picked up a quad analog aircraft cht gauge a few months ago. I'm still looking for the senders for it. Ratwell.com as mentioned does have some info on CHT. Here's a table I've referenced recently. It sounds like you're in comparable range. http://www.type2.com/rvanness/1600saga.htm#11 On Mon, May 18, 2009 at 10:08 AM, James Dwan <james_dwan_2000@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Nope, I'll check it out. He has some notes about the DD CHT there. One day I'm going to get one. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Dwan" <james_dwan_2000@xxxxxxxxx> To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, May 18, 2009 8:11:29 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: [tcb] Average head temps So I got the DD CHT gauge wired up yesterday. I couldn't get it to go to the "set up" mode. Does anyone have a Dakota Digital CHT gauge on the list?Anyway it appears to be working fine, yanked out the VDO gauges if anyone is interested in them lemme know. They are the gauges only for oil temp and oil pressure. Average temp was about 350 when about 60 mph but got up to 404 in 4th going 80 with it floored. Are these average? I have never had a CHT gauge before. James -- My Email Moniker http://www.findinternettv.com/Video,item,1570570433.aspx
