[tcb] Re: Anybody in or around Austin have a Trailer I can bum for the weekend?

Here is a video. You don't have to play it. It's just a bunch of random buses
at the point 2008. Just click this link and the first image that displays on
the video before playing it is the bus, the wife and one of the dogs.

I don't suppose he has a dark green bus? I keep stumbling across home movies
online of a couple with a dark green transporter. They have two dogs and a
green side tent the size of The Taj Mahal, complete with furniture and Coleman
kitchenette.
Once they pack up you couldn't squeeze an extra pair of flip-flops in that
mess.
  They're hilarious.

Have any of you considered a cargo carrier? They just slide over a trailer
hitch and are self supported. Much cheaper, much easier, better on fuel
consumption, no titles, etc,... and they have plenty of room to clear out your
passenger area.
Here is a link to the cheapest one in the world-
http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/trailer-accessories/150-lb-capacity-atv-cargo-carrier-67623.html
But of course there are bigger stronger ones on the market. They also sell
tough vinyl waterproof duffel-type bags that fit whichever size carrier you
get. They can be strapped on and locked.
Or I suppose one could always build a box on it, for, say,... camping in
Detroit.

FWIW, Ronnie Hughes built a really nice enclosed trailer from a Barbour Freight
(I think) trailer frame.I really want to build on of these at some point.Would
be real nice not to have to carry all the camping junk in the vehicle.

I sent him an email to look at it.

I'm ultimately looking for
 an enclosed trailer but it's
 gotta be cheap, cheap, cheap.

Rebuilding the heads was a big, unexpected ding. Glad it's done but still it
was a big hole in the pocketbook.

It's a metal frame. You can replace the wood with whatever you want and buy a
title. But you can't hardly buy an axle for that price. Just a thought.

No title and wooden frame? No way.

Incidentally, I've been scouring craigslist for days and didn't see
 that one!
