I need to get a brush-hog out there after Dean dumps whatever rain he has
planned for us. The property is a mixed bag. There is enough high ground
for a house (there used to be one) but enough low ground that I might not
want to go walking (or driving) around. There's a small pond at he back.
I'm thinking that digging it out to 1 acre at 12 feet deep will give me
about 2 feet of dirt to dump on the other 6 acres AND provide some
drainage. It's n an area that, if it doesn't have cable, should have it
within the next 5 years to satisfy my high speed fix (and Vonage phone).

I may plant some weeping willows along the front and back to provide a
natural "privacy fence" and suck up some more of the water.

It was at a VERY good price. Maybe I'll become a land mogul and clean it up
for resale.

Naaahhhhh.
