If you are looking for a transit of Venus opportunity that isn't on the far
west side(at Chambers Bay) , PLU is looking for help with a viewing at their
Keck observatory. Given the trees it would also be a shorter viewing session
if you needed an earlier end date.
Please email me directly if you are interested and we can all meet on Sunday
evening there to review the telescope and security procedures.
