Hi Eleanor,

Down the lefthand side of the phone I think, there is a nail flap.
Just push it up with your nail and the memory card is under it.

Take out the card with the phone switched off, then power it on.

I an wondering if this problem of the phone not booting up with my
Irish SIM card might have anything to do with the memory card. If
Steve thinks so then any suggestions? I do not even know how to open
the slot where it is even to take out and replace.
