[talks-uk] Re: List Requirements

Hi,

For what its wortth, I think it best if we all just used the talks
international list. Sometimes, there is too many lists, and keeping track of
them can be quite time consuming, let alone for the moderator.

Just my two pence worth.

Brian.

Vanja,

If you note in my message, I point out that the list, both of them, have
dramatically dropped in list traffic with the advent of Android and iPhone.

there is much, much less traffic these days on the international Talks list.

I would expect the International Android list to have more than 200 messages a
day, as did the international Talks list in its hay day.

In adition to this, the international list has so so much trafic I simply don't
have time to go through all that, so that's another advantage of the UK list.
Though I don't really use talks any more, I don't mind still staying on this
list in case I can help others or one never knows when one might hear something
useful.

I have the same issue with android, there is a eyes free list, but it's
international and sometimes there are over 200 emails in one day. Just too much
for me. I wish there was an android accessibilitty UK based list which would no
doubt have less trafic, but that's getting off topic, but baisically I do agree
that this list should be kept.

When anything new comes along such as BBM speech for example, if it
appears on the UK list I'm more likely to read it. If I see something
inovative on an international list, I just think, oh well it's
American isn't it? They get everything! Keep the UK list!

All the best,
Sandra.
