Just a pun, but more seriously, there is some sentimentality behind it. When learning braille and perhaps for the rest of my educational days, fonts were something I never dealt with. I didn't have to worry about them learning braille, or the Royal portable, and when I started writing anything on the computer, the correctness of spelling was the worry. Even now, I'll stick to just the areal font and not divert from it unless otherwise requested. When typing, I remember hitting a tab to go a certain number of spaces, five from the margin or to the center where I had to backspace once for every two spaces of the word or words I wished to center. So here's to my favorite elefont and the simpler days. I have to admit that perhaps putting in footnotes just might be easier with the computer.
