From an article in today's Democrat (discussing the city's budget
shortfall), comes this quote:
"StarMetro, despite a major overhaul in 2011 to improve routes and swell
ridership,
has not proved to be the transit system envisioned, officials said at
the meeting.
Gillum, who's been a sharp critic of StarMetro's routes, said there have
been incremental
increases to improve service but not enough to be a success story. The
next step
for the commission comes down to asking two main questions: When do we
get the system
we want and how much is it going to cost?"
