According to the article, drivers have to pass a background check and a
review of their driving history. So, if they're a bad guy, at least
they're good enough at it to not have previously been caught.

In this day and age we sadly can’t be too careful and as interesting as

I would caution on using this service, because  these drivers use their
own personal vehicles', here in Orlando we have had this service since
July.
the only thing is that, you have to use your smart phone to book a trip
and there is no live person to talk to

don't mean to be  so doubtful,
