Too much unwanted junk on your phone(s)?

There is no Do Not Text Registry, but the FCC does have rules about it; link
below.
For now, you'll have to opt out of those unwanted text solicitations
individually, using the instructions (required by law) contained in each
sender's message; sadly, the opt-out procedures are NOT uniform by any means,
and simply deleting the unwanted messages won't stop future intrusions.
Here's a link to the FCC's page about it:
http://www.fcc.gov/guides/spam-unwanted-text-messages-and-email

Also, here's the number for the National Do Not Call registry. 888-382-1222
You have to call from each phone number you want registered (or do it online at
donotcall.gov), but now it DOES NOT EXPIRE. YAY!
Also, you can check if your numbers are registered already by clicking "Verify
a Registration" on the left side of the screen, upon which you'll be prompted
to enter up to 3 phone numbers to check, along with an email address for them
to send the response.
Do remember that any business/entity with which you have had prior dealings is
NOT required to cease communications with you; there are other, less succinctly
stated, exclusions also... however, registering your numbers will preclude the
lion's share of nuisances.
