Now that the Lighthouse of the Big Bend has moved to a section of our fair city
that has sidewalks the city is now getting around to adding sidewalks between
Blairstone and Paul Russell Rode.
Agenda item 8: . Approval of Construction Contract Award for the Apalachee
Parkway Sidewalk Project, Bid No. 0009-10-ER-FT---GABE MENENDEZ, PUBLIC WORKS
At the August 23, 2006 meeting, the City Commission approved the execution of a
Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT) to reimburse the City of Tallahassee for the actual costs
directly related to the design, construction, and construction engineering &
inspection of a sidewalk along S.R. 20/U.S. 27 (Apalachee Parkway) from Blair
Stone Road to Paul Russell Road in an amount not to exceed $600,000.
