How about we start with common courtesy?
you know common sense stuff.
We know what the guidelines are. Blindness issues that are in the geographic area of or fair city.

No that is not my whole subject here. Who am I to start changing things
since there is no sure fire guide lines to be read.

Thanks,

Well does it?

Your message seems to be rules for the list, yet the subject line is.:tabi]

Chip I mint it to go to the list. This being said. I did mis understand
the
thread where you responded to talking thermostats. I thought you were
talking about the new smart meters that a lot of the electric companies
are
implementing. Sorry about the mis understanding. As for changing the
subject
to reflect the thread I am all for that. I had mention that several times
and it seem to piss everyone off. I think the subject should reflect the
thread or conversation. If you are using another thread or conversation to put out a email to the list that is a change of conversation or thread the
subject should reflect that. I also personally think the list should have
some guide lines or rules set in place. Such as what is on topic, what can
and not be posted to the list, what language can and can not be used and
so
on. This set of guide lines should be posted to the list at least once a
month and to each new member. This would keep problem down. People don't
know what is and what isn't. This would help keep from getting people piss
off at you and the list because they don't know what the rules and guide
lines is. Every email list I have known has this in place except for this
one. First list I ever seen did not have rules specifically stating in
plain
under standable language. Just my thoughts.

Thanks,
Blackjack

Blackjack,

well, if yu put it on the list it's to everyone. if you want it to go to
just one person, then send it to the person. I'm being asked to remind
folks to do that all the time.

Lynn's point, that we should try and stay on subject, is also one I'm
asked
to remind folks to do.

this isn't meant to discourage you or anyone else from posting; just
reminding you to strike a balance.

Blackjack I was talking about accessibility of thermostats here.
And you are concerned about someone knocking on your door and telling
you what type of thermostat to use?
So what am I missing here. Government intervention in our lives?
I HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE MY ON THERMOSTAT!!!

The 28 amendment to the constitution oh ya I forgot that one.
