I haven't heard anything about the shortfall, but in terms of the total
budget, it was described as "pennies on the floor". it will be no problem
for them to find 36 million, they just wanted to be seen making state
workers "share the pain".

This is great. Now I wondering where they are going to try to make up the
short fall? I really did not think that budgeting the state of Florida
budget off of state workers was the right thing to do.

Governor Christe vetoed the provision cutting state worker salaries by 2
percent for those making above $45k.
