The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) offers free tax preparation help through
two programs

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, or VITA program, is usually limited to
people who make $53,000 or less, individuals with disabilities

volunteers can help you prepare your tax returns and help you find out if
you may be eligible for special credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit
