Have you ever wanted to visit creatures who live under the sea? Well, here's your chance! The Sea Mobile is coming to Tallahassee on Saturday, October 4. Where can you find such an entertaining and fascinating adventure? Just come to the Lighthouse of the Big Bend, located at 3071 Highland Oaks Terrace in beautiful Tallahassee Florida. The Sea Mobile will be present in the parking lot from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Sea Mobile is a free event supported by a grant from Duke Energy and the Tallahassee Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB). The touch tanks and large screen monitor showcase sea specimens. Sea Mobile is a golden opportunity for people who are blind/visually Impaired to "see" and encounter the wonders of the sea. This travelling mobile has a 13.5 foot clearance with a model of the hammerhead shark on top. This is an excellent chance to learn about creatures who live in a different environment from our own, so don't forget to bring the kids!
