Just FYI, a friend of ours in Kilearn, who had her power back on recently,
lost it again last night and it's still not back on!

Robert and I were just blessed with electricity! We have no clue how blessed
we are, do we?

Hi all,
Let me be the first to report that the power is back on at my home after
almost 24 hours. You don't know how blessed you are until you have to do
without power and water for a full day! Luckily we had a sterno one burner
stove and a charcoal grill to make meals. Water for our toilet came from a
trip to the nearby river and a Publix store with a generator was open for
other supplies. Having batteries on hand was a plus. We sighted a bear in
our backyard too. I'm sure he was scouting food, but our chickens, rabbits
and ducks were not dinner for him J.
I hope others came through the hurricane as well.
